  • Login using the appropriate link for you campus. Keep in mind, you must use the format network\UserName to login.

OSX

Installing VI Monitor through the App Store

  1. Create an Apple ID with your Bay College email address.
    • Note: The password doesn't have to be, and shouldn't be your Bay College password.
    • You do NOT have to add payment information, the VI Monitor application is free.
  2. Open the App Store on your Mac, and search for VI Monitor.

  3. Click Get, then Install, and enter your Apple ID credentials and click Sign In.
  4. You will be prompted to log in again. Enter your credentials and click Buy.
    • You will NOT be charged, this is a free application.
  5. You will be brought to the Purchased area of the App Store. Click the Install button next to VI Monitor.

Configuring VI Monitor servers

  1. Open the VI Monitor software. You will be greeted by a tutorial on your first time opening the program. Feel free to read it and close it out.
  2. Click Add Server in the software to add the camera server.

  3. Enter in the IP address, Username and Password as shown in the photo. Leave the Data Port and Command Port at the default.
    • NOTE: Use esccameras.baycollege.edu for the Escanaba camera server and imcameras.baycollege.edu for the West Campus camera server.

  4. Click Ok. You will see a screen with the server you added. Click the server info, then click View Server.

  5. Congratulations, you are now logged into the camera server! If you need training on using the software, please contact the Help Desk at ithelp@baycollege.edu.
