Recovering Backups on File Server

If you are having trouble finding a file on your computer or have edited a file by mistake, you can restore these files from a previously saved version.

1. Using either the Windows Key + E or by clicking on the File Explorer Icon, open up Windows File Explorer.

2. Navigate to the drive and/or folder where you last saved the file you want to recover.

3. Right-Click the folder and select Restore Previous Versions. A new window will open.

4. Use Windows Key + E or click on the File Explorer icon on the Taskbar and open another new window.

5. In this window, navigate to where you want the restored files saved

6. You can Right-Click and select Send To and the drive letter where you want the recovered file(s) saved, copy and paste, or click and drag the file(s) into the folder where you want it saved.
