Placement Assessment

This page is for documenting the processes of Placement Assessment at Bay College. There are two placement platforms in use at Bay College: Accuplacer for the reading and writing assessments & ALEKS for the math assessment.

Administering Assessments

For all assessments

1. The student asks to take a placement assessment.
2. Verify the student's identity using a photo ID.
3. The student logs in to the computer.
