Usage

Powering on Room 124

The ITV System in MS 124 is controlled from both the AMX touchpad and the display buttons located on the baymad.

The first step is to turn on the projectors and lower the screens. In order to do this simply hit both PROJ1 and PROJ2 on the button panel.

Once the activated the projector screens should automatically come down and the projectors should display this picture:

Calling Another ITV System

To connect to another room, locate the AMX touchpad on the baymad. The default displayed options should be "Place a Call", "Favorites", and "Show Content".

If you want to place a call manually you can select "Place a Call" but it will be faster to select "Favorites" Once selected a list of recently contacted address will show up and simply touching them will immediately cause the Polycom to place a call.

Adjusting the Camera

By default, the camera is set to the Student View. You can change to the following different views by pressing the corresponding buttons on the AMX Touchpanel

  • Computer: Displays computer content on the projector and TV screens.
  • Laptop: Shows a plugged-in laptop on the projector/TV.
  • Doc Cam: Shows the built-in document camera on the projector and TV screens. The document camera is built into the interactive podium.
  • Whiteboard: Shows the electronic whiteboard on the projector/TV.
  • Instructor: Enables and displays the instructor camera.
  • Students: Enables and displays the student camera.
