Usage

Powering on Room 115

To power on room 115, please press the system on button on the iPad. The two screens will slide down into place. The two projectors will also power up.

Once the system is fully powered on, this is the screen that controls the unit.

Dialing a room

To connect to a room, ensure that Place a Call is selected on the home page. Then, press select on the iPad.

Then use the down arrow on the iPad to select which room you want to connect to. Then press select on the iPad. This will dial the selected room.

Switching the Camera

To switch between the student and instructor camera, press the Students or Instructor button on the iPad. The picture-in-picture will display the currently selected view.

Changing the Volume

To change the volume, press and hold the volume bar on the bottom portion of the iPad.

This will bring up the following menu:

Use the up and down arrows to adjust the volume appropriately. The amp is the general system volume and should be adjusted first.

Enabling External Content

If the presenter wishes to display the computer screen or other device to both students, the Start Content button will allow that functionality. On the Video Dial Screen of the iPad, press the start content button to bring the computer on the projector.

When the presenter wants to go back to student view, simply press the Stop Content button.

Displaying A Local Presentation

When 115 is being used a regular classroom (as when there is no videoconferencing occurring), the system can be switched over to local view mode. To do so, press the Room Mode Button on the right side of the iPad, then press Local Display. Please note that this may disconnect the student or instructor camera from the system. In order to get restore function, the system will have to be powered on and off.

Then follow the above directions to Start and Stop Content. When done presenting, please return the room to Video Conference mode by pressing the Video Conference button.

Shutting Down the System

To shut down the 115 videoconferencing system, press the exit button, then press the System Off button.
