HoverCam Solo 8

The Solo 8, as with the entire line of HoverCam document cameras, is “more than a scanner, and more than a camera”. It is excellent for quick multiple scans, with time sequenced snap scans and motion sensing options. This means there are some new concepts when using the Solo 8.

Physical buttons

1. The hover cam has 5 physical buttons that you can click to avoid using the software

2. the buttons as diagrammed below allow you to utilize most of the basic operations of the camera

Running

1. To launch the program look for the "HoverCam FlexView" icon.

2. Once launched the program will look like this.

3. If you want to focus on something you click controls. Click the "AF" "AE" or "AWB" and the camera will automatically adjust the document.

4. For more straight forward controls just click focus and again click the "AF" "AE" or selective and the camera will adjust the document.

Advanced options

The HoverCam software also has some more advanced uses such as image capture

1. To take a picture select the snapshot button on the bottom bar .

2. Once there the imagine can be retrieved by double clicking it on the bar on the left.

3. Once you've set the image to what you want it to save it by clicking the export button.

4. from there you can save the file to where you want.
