Administering Accuplacer
- The proctor will navigate to the Accuplacer website and login (https://www.accuplacer.org).
- Upon logging in, navigate to the Administer Test link and click it. Then click New Test Session. Pop-ups must be enabled for the next screen to show.
- On the popup screen, select either the reading or writing assessment, then click administer test.
- Have the student read the Accuplacer Privacy Policy, then click either Accept or Decline.
- Enter in the student information shown below, then click next. Be sure to enter in the data accurately.
- A second screen of student information will appear. Fill in the red asterisk fields. Then click save
- There is a short tutorial for the student on how to use Accuplacer. The student then takes the Accuplacer assessment.
- Upon completion of the Accuplacer assessment, the proctor login page appears. Enter in the proctor login to access and print the scores. Note - popups must be enabled for the score screen to appear.
- Print off the score screen and then send it to Student Services.
- Close out of the score screen. The proctor will log back into Accuplacer. Either setup the other assessment or sign out of Accuplacer. The student will then either take the ALEKS assessment if that is needed or will sign out of the computer.
