Administering ALEKS

ALEKS
- The student will access and log into MyBay.
- Navigate to the Placement Info area on MyBay (Current Students > Academic Support > Testing Services > Placement Info).
- Click on the ALEKS Link.
- The ALEKS website opens. Bubble in "No, I am new to ALEKS," then click Continue.
- Have the student read through the ALEKS User Agreement. Assuming the student checks the box, they may continue.
- Click continue on the Registration Complete screen.
- Click 'Continue to your ALEKS class' on the registration complete screen.
- Upon clicking continue, the student will see the following picture. Have them click next and then Get Started.
- The student will then take a pre-assessment survey that asks them about their math history and which class that they want to get into.
- Upon completing the survey, the student will take the ALEKS assessment.
- Upon completing the ALEKS assessment, the following page is presented. Click the Print button to print the score. Then send the assessment score to Student Services.
- The student can then sign out of ALEKS. If the student needs to take Accuplacer, the proctor can login to the Accuplacer website. Otherwise, the student may logout of the computer.
